FR SCHEDULES 12-15
FR12 DAY 1
On Thursday, September 29th,2022 we started training Cheez-It on FR12. She trained for 14 minutes and 18 seconds. She pressed the lever 365 times and received around 30 pellets. She did show signs of frustration during the end of the training, but she was also distracted by a pellet that got stuck in the lever.
FR12 DAY 2
On Friday, September 30th, 2022, I continued to train Cheez-It on FR12. I did this because I felt like she didn’t really have the hang of it. She trained for a total of 29 minutes and 60 seconds and then the machine cut off. She received a total of 57 pellets and pressed the lever 699 times. She did show signs of frustration by cleaning herself and standing on her back legs. She also got distracted by the light in the box.
FR15
On October 1st, 2022, I started Cheez-It on FR15. This is where I ran into a problem. We stopped training at 21 minutes and 3 seconds because the machine stopped working. Cheez-It tends to put her head all the way into the pellet dispense box so you can’t see the pellet when it comes out. I noticed that she wouldn’t move her head, so I used the hand lever, and it wouldn’t dispense a pellet. I am unsure how long this went on so I technically “started the extinction process”. I went ahead and pulled her out because I could tell she was frustrated, and she quit trying in a different box. She received 41 pellets and had 631 lever presses.
