FR SCHEDULES 7-10
FR7
On September 24th, 2022, my partner started training Cheez-It on FR7. Cheez-It received 80 pellets, and around 560 lever presses. This was a day when the machine wouldn’t show the lever presses, so we had to do the math. Cheez-it completed the training in 24 minutes and 59 seconds. She didn’t do bad on FR7 either, she has pressed the lever more than she ever has in any other training sessions. She did have a harder time, and so she continued to aggressively clean herself to let off some frustration.
FR10 DAY 1
On Sunday, September 25th, my partner started Cheez-It on FR10. Although she did not receive as many pellets as usual, she received 55 pellets, and pressed the lever 566 times. I was not there during this training but was told this was when she started to experience jumping behavior due to her frustration.
FR10 DAY 2
On Tuesday, September 27th, we continued to train her on FR10. She didn’t do as well as we hoped either. It could have been her off day, and she was just confused, or she really wasn’t interested in training that day. On day 2, she received 54 pellets and pressed the lever around 540. Again, the computer wouldn’t show the lever presses, so we did the math to figure out around how many lever presses she actually did. It took her 30 minutes to finish day 2 of her FR10 training session.
On Thursday, September 29th,2022 we did our final day of FR10 training with Cheez-It. She received 45 pellets and pressed the lever 471 times. We trained on FR10 for 17 minutes and 19 seconds, and then switched her to FR12. I think she may have not done as well during day 3, because this was my first day back staying for the whole time. This was my first training session with Cheez-it by myself, so she probably was confused during the beginning. She pretty much was used to pressing the lever and didn’t seem to show any stress or frustration.
